It has been roughly about a month now since i dared myself to get a domain name and hosting services from mercumaya.net. I have put tons of effort for this to work hahaha .. I’ve browse a lot for a local Malaysian web hosting provider and so far i guess Mercumaya.net is offering the best $ could buy! For RM138 and 10GB storage, I think its good for beginners like me.

Can’t wait for Bandwidth’s Official Launch party! It will be held on 23rd May, 2009 @ D’Junction Fun Pub .. I guess it will be the day where everybody would get to know the FOP Photography team, the official photographer for Bandwidth Streetpress Mag. Its has been a great 3 months for me attached with FOP and Bandwidth. I’ve met good friends and acquaintance through photography for what started as a hobby suddenly became a great passion which is difficult for me to just ignore and dispense of hehehe .. after a frustrating morning .. i finally manage to get this .. what do you guys think? hehehe ..

I was browsing through in my favorite site for information about a certain legendary lense this morning. I found what i was looking for and sighed at the unexpected price of that lense. Anyway, something caught my eye and immediately opened up the link. It says .. ehem .. Canon releases service notice for PowerShot G10 .. OMG!

I recently purchased a G10 unit for my wife. She was really² happy. It was a Valentine’s Day gift since i figured that she was really interested since playing with my SLR camera too frequent. Of course, she was happy. It costs a fortune too huhuuu ..

Ermm .. back to the story .. So there i was reading through the article in dpreview.com about the phenomenon of the unexplained G10 problem. It has nothing to do with the settings nor the camera itself but Canon is calling back all G10 units for free repairs. When i checked Canon Malaysia, NOTHING was mentioned about this. This is really² wierd so i emailed one of the managers of Sabah’s Canon Marketing for inquiries. Funny that they didn’t know about this defect kan? 5th – 7th June, 2009. The date that myself and colleagues dreaded so much. Its the time where we pack all our /furnitures/computers/etc and move up to our office building located about 40 minutes from KK in KKIP industrial area.

This shall be a challenge for all of us staff, living in various parts of KK, Penampang and some even from Papar – just to get to work on time! I am really dissapointed with the management’s decision to move up to

Phew! Luckily I got mine yesterday .. The Digital Camera Mag (Malaysia) sells like hot cupcakes .. Its definitely cheaper than buying the UK version which is like dropping a bomb and making a large hole in your pocket.  They have almost similiar articles with the same bunch of photographers featured in their respective mags, so I opted for the cheaper ones and of which displays our local photography talents in the Hot Shots spread ..  Can learn something lah .. heheh ..
