Due to unfortunate timings, my commitment to work and all, I’ve left my photoblog untouched. I’ve only been renewing the domain fee for the past 2 years now

Now those things had come to its natural state and time is a bit at hand, I’ve decided to put in this post. I’ve pledged to myself that I’ll continue to post up at least a photo a week just to kasi cukup syarat! Hahaha ..

First up for this entry, I’m gonna post my long overdue shots (the time I got married – post married photos!) of myself and my beloved wife as well as a few more in between 2008 and 2009. It was posted up in Facebook, but yeah, kasi cukup syarat lah ..

I had the chance to accompany and assist Mr. Sidney ‘Siginoot‘ Guansing on Shamsul and Alya’s wedding reception on the auspicious day of 08th August, 2009 recently at Sinar Mustika Hall, Putatan. The setup of the dinner was sensible yet very much appealing for everybody that attended and I can see that the couple was pragmatically jubilant and overjoyed.

These are my favorite shots throughout the 3 days of Maria and Farruq’s wedding day/nikah day on the 17th, then the malam berinai on the 18th and lastly their remarkable reception on the 19th of July respectively. Their wedding/reception was done traditionally. From these images, you can see that Farruq’s family procession into the brides’ house, Maria with her traditional Javanese costume and also a pretty noteworthy pelamin for them to be publicly spectacle each and everyone who attended their function.  There’s tons of images that can make it into the list but I favor these the most. Enjoy~

Me and Ash had a blast on the 5th of July .. the loving couple had chosen their peaceful neighbourhood village to do the photography session, and I was amazed with the surroundings natural beauty .. aah, I’m imagining the cool breeze and fresh air now! Terrie and James were charming in front of the camera .. All the best you two .. I quote Rose Franken’s – Anyone can be passionate, but it takes real lovers to be silly ..

Here are some images from a recent pre-wedding session at 2^nd beach, Tanjung Aru. I used to live locally – not on the beach but around Tanjung Aru! – so was looking forward to seeing my old ground. It was unfortunate for us as initially the photo shoot was supposed to be somewhere around the Sulaman highway and then capturing the sunset at Rasa Ria Resort. But I was informed that we need to write in for approval from the hotel management. That i didn’t do, so the next best thing .. TG Aru lah .. It was great to be at Tanjung Aru and true to it’s name we were blessed with some fantastic sunlight and Aru trees – I think

not an avid fan of action/sports photography .. but then i told myself that i need to have at least a few shots la .. furthermore, this event was the first in Borneo! GO SABAH! hahaha .. i managed to “salvage” a few shots only reason being my beloved EOS 1kD wasn’t fast enough to frame (3.0 fps) the actions or perhaps I should’ve triggered the shutter earlier .. heck .. hehehe

Today was a sunny Sunday morning. I woke up around 7am .. got ready and left the house around 830am .. I’m going to the new office in Sepanggar .. SIGH on a Sunday morning .. Why? To let the contractors into the building .. There’s the telephone and air conditioning contractor ..

I can see a beautiful side view of Mount Kinabalu from where i’m sitting. It used to be a calm and peaceful view of the sea and islands from my previous office in Wisma Merdeka. The mountain looked serene and majestic.

The contractors are busy drilling and hammering away for the air conditioning and the other busy picking up and calling each telephone extension following a set of numbers from a small piece of paper, respectively.

On top of it all, I’m watching over them here .. How ironic and unfair .. SIGH
